Day 70 - June 9, 2010

Slow down
Kewpie says go take a walk and smell the flowers today.

Day 69 - June 8, 2010

I... can... do... it...........
Like me, this kitty has obviously been skipping its yoga classes - and eating far too much supper.

Day 68 - June 7, 2010

Let's call it a day
2225hrs Leave the office
2252hrs Eat chicken cutlet and tau huay
2324hrs Shoot photo for Project 365

All I want to do now is to have my second round of dinner - a hot bowl of home-cooked noodles - curl up in bed and watch 康熙来了. Good night, world.

Update for June 8: The cleaner removed the remaining two keys.

Day 67 - June 6, 2010

Keys to your heart
Someone moved away and left these on the ledge.

Update on June 7: Someone took one of the keys and shifted the positions. Didn't snap anything cos was rushing for work. Wonder how many will remain tonight?

Day 66 - June 5, 2010

Guilt over the two pieces of fried chicken I succumbed to for lunch made me brisk walk for one and a half hours to the Botanic Gardens and back.

Enjoy the silence

Day 65 - June 4, 2010

My first taste of white asparagus and now I know why the one delicious delicate stalk I ate cost $10.

Friday, finally
I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday, I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Day 64 - June 3, 2010

Just one of those days

The only "village" in Singapore that has a "windmill"

Day 63 - June 2, 2010

Addicted
I've never liked tau huay. But in the last two weeks, I've suddenly fallen head over heels in love with this insanely smooth tau huay in my neighbourhood and I find myself eating it every other day. I know our late-night rendezvous cannot go on forever and I'll grow tired of it soon enough but oh, let me indulge in it while the stomach is still willing.

It's almost time to perm my hair again to revive my lifeless curls.

Day 62 - June 1, 2010

Longing
Yes, I gave it to him after nailing the shot.

Best compliment today (from the optician): "你都没有三十,哪里会有老花?"

Day 61 - May 31, 2010

Monday's blur
Mondays are always a blur for me at work - the longest and definitely most boring day of my week. When I trudge home, drained and hungry, this is how the world appears to me.

(Experimenting with a new iPhone app I got called Slow Shutter. It's fun but the resolution is too small for the pix to stand alone, hence the collage.)

Have you ever seen more humongous strawberries?

Day 60 - May 30, 2010

Lost
It needs a GPS.

(While kneeling on the ground taking this shot, I received SMSes from a friend informing me the Singapore women's team was very close to making history by beating China in the World Team Table Tennis Championships. And we did!)

Do you spit or swallow (those nasty unpopped kernels, I mean)?
